Year 7 - The Actor
In Y7, we explore the Actor's Instruments: voice, body and mind. Through ensemble and choral work, we explore storytelling through the ages to understand how to engage audiences and use the performance space in creative ways.
Year 8 - The Designer
Following our work in Y7, we look at specific theatre genres such as Melodrama and working with Masks and Puppets. We develop skills as performers and theatre makers, looking at different design elements. We end the course with a World Theatre Project, delving into a topic of our choice to deepen our understanding of a specific genre or practice.
